Hello everyone, this post is long overdue. I've been wanting to post this for ages but college has been mad busy as it's that time of the year where I am finally applying to university (eek).
Last month during my trip to London me and my boyfriend made sure we got to make it to 'Winter Wonderland' in Hyde Park and lets just say I am not disappointed. We ensured our little get away was just before Christmas, A) to do some Christmas shopping (meaning spending all my birthday money on everyone else, if you're a December baby you'll know what I mean), and B) so we could see London all lit up and magical ready for Christmas.
So obviously if you've ever been in Hyde Park you would know it is e-nor-mous. As we came to leave thinking we had experienced it all, trying to find the way out resulted in us finding more and more sections we hadn't yet seen. We must have spent a good 3 hours there, surely.
Anyway, the place is full of German Christmas Markets, you know the wooden hutted stalls, enough fair rides to make you puke at the thought of even going on one and more food than you could ever imagine.
Going off this years success i'm presuming that it will be back again for 2017, if it is I highly recommend going and checking it out. Just make sure you set aside a few hours to ensure you have time to cover it all.
It definitely got us in the Christmas spirit thats for sure.
How was everyones Christmas? I hope you had a good'en!
